RealCold was established in 2022 to meet the growing demand for temperature-controlled logistics. In response to shifting consumer purchasing habits and the evolving needs of food service providers and manufacturers, the company opened its first ground-up flagship facility in Lockhart in the spring of 2025.

The 312,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility is one of only two RealCold flagships nationwide. Strategically located in the Texas Innovation Corridor, it offers direct access to major highways and metro areas, positioning RealCold as a trusted partner for food retailers, producers, and distributors. Thoughtfully designed for maximum efficiency, the fully convertible facility features single- and double-deep racking, four temperature-controlled rooms ranging from -20°F to 55°F, 36,000 pallet positions, an ambient room for inventory or packaging, 50-foot clear height, four-day power backup, and dedicated space for value-added services.
