Ziegenfelder

The Ziegenfelder Company was established in 1861 as a candy and ice cream maker, and in the 1980s shifted its focus to frozen popsicles, becoming a national leader in twin pop production. Guided by a mission to bring joy to everyone who tries their frozen treats, the company is equally committed to the growth and well-being of its employees, fostering a workplace culture worth celebrating.

The company’s expansion into Lockhart allows Ziegenfelder to better serve its growing southwest customer base, reducing shipping times and further strengthening its position as the largest producer of Twin Pops in the United States.

Their 75,000-square-foot Lockhart facility is the newest of four nationwide and the company’s first greenfield manufacturing plant. Designed with a production capacity of 300 million frozen treats annually, the site is equipped with four production lines—one currently operational and two more scheduled to come online by the end of the year. This modern facility enhances Ziegenfelder’s ability to meet rising demand while expanding its reach across the southern United States.
