The Lockhart Municipal Airport, owned by the city, features a 4000’ x 75’ main runway and hanger facilities on 90 acres. 128 acres surround the airport. The Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is 26 miles north of Lockhart.
Lockhart and Caldwell County are served by freight rail from Union Pacific Rail. Amtrak passenger service is available in Austin.
